Chrome Radio Player delivers easy streaming of radio channels through Google Chrome.

This is a streamlined radio player for Google Chrome. It doesn’t get in the way for your music experience and gets you started quickly.

Chrome Radio Player allows you to add as many radio channels as you please. They are easily managed through the intuitive interface.

Requirements

Requires either of these two supported browser media plugin:

Windows Media Player plugin
Windows users needs to install the Windows Media Player plugin for Firefox, which also works for Google Chrome. Remember to restart Google Chrome after installation.

VLC media player – Mozilla browser plugin
This option is theoretically platform independent, which means it should work with both Linux, Mac and Windows. To install it go to VLC website and during the installation choose to install the Mozilla plugin. Remember to restart Google Chrome after installation.

Features

  • Start listening with only a double-click.
  • Favorite presets.
  • Supports both VLC media player (plugin) and Windows Media Player (plugin).
  • Supports playlists (pls, m3u, asx, xspf).
  • Includes sample stations to quickly get listening.

Known issues:

  • Popup won't shrink in height. This is a Chrome bug (fixed in 5.0.317.2)
  • Partial support for Linux.
  • No support for Mac.
